The Marinco 6 amp 12 volt charger comes pre-programmed with 3 charging cycles for a quick recovery.

With the built-in auto sense, this unit will detect a battery’s voltage and automatically start the charging cycle. Once your battery reaches 14.3 volts the charger then transitions into a “Float Phase.” This charging method will help to maintain and increase the lifespan of the battery. Additionally, this charger will give you the added security of knowing you can stay fully charged without having to constantly monitor your batteries.

Here at Battle Born Batteries, we witnessed the charger provide 5 amps of current continuously until the voltage on the battery reached 14.4 for 30 seconds. Once the battery held voltage for 30 seconds, we saw a drop off in amperage down to 1 amp. From this point the charger switched into a float phase, keeping our Battle Born 100 Ah battery’s voltage at or above 13.3 volts which is ideal for our lithium batteries.

This charger is an excellent candidate for the Battle Born Battery. With its pre-programmed charge cycles, it will not only maintain a lithium batteries voltage as a whole, but will also help to ensure that the individual cells remained balanced within the battery. This unit also comes with a straightforward LED display, making the charging process as simple as plugging in an extension cord.
