Since he was 7 years old, Shane Granger has been chasing his dreams of life at sea. After a variety of careers, Shane finally transitioned to life at sea and has sailed nearly half a million sea miles. In 2001, Shane and his partner Meggi, purchased the historic Norwegian sea vessel Vega that was originally built in 1892. They’re still actively sailing her over 6,000 miles a year while engaging in humanitarian efforts and delivering essential items to groups of people that would otherwise not be able to access them.
