The Victron Energy Venus GX is the communication-center of your installation, allowing you to talk to all components in your system and ensure they are working in harmony. Monitoring of live data, and changing settings is performed by using your smartphone (or other device) via our free-to-use Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM).

The Venus GX is a member of the GX product family, Victron Energy’s state-of-the-art monitoring and control solution that run our Venus OS operating system. It sits at the heart of your energy installation. All the other system components, such as inverter/chargers, solar chargers, and batteries, are connected to it. The VGX ensures that they all work in harmony.
To monitor and control your system, you can simply access it remotely via our Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal from anywhere in the world using an internet connection. You can also access it directly using a web browser or our VictronConnect app via the local LAN/WiFi Network, the built-in WiFi Access Point, or a Multi-Functional Display (MFD).
The Remote Console [44] serves as the primary control center for monitoring, controlling, and managing your system.
The VGX also provides VRM remote firmware updates and allows settings to be changed remotely. Note that all the information in this manual refers to the latest software.
Intuitive System Overview: As soon as you ‘log on’ Venus GX provides an instant overview of your system: Battery state of charge; present power consumption; power harvest from PV; power provision from mains/generator.
Full Power of Victron Remote Management (VRM): Victron Remote Management (VRM) provides you with full access to the very extensive controls and settings of all system-components which are connected to either your CCGX or Venus GX. It allows remote user and installer login – from anywhere, at anytime. This powerful application also provides for hassle-free diagnostic checks and analysis of archived information.
Automatic Generator Start/Stop: The Venus GX can be programmed to auto-start your generator – triggered by low-voltage; high-demand; or battery state of charge. It can be further tailored to delay ignition until the end of ‘quiet’ periods – avoiding accidental nuisance at dead of night.
Remote Console: Remote Console provides visual access to the live data and settings of your Venus GX. And because it’s remote – you can do that from anywhere in the world.
24-Hour Monitoring for Energy Storage Systems (ESS): The Venus GX manages Energy Storage Systems. It keeps back-up batteries at 100% ; kicks-in during power-cuts; and diverts excess (solar) power to self-consumption – saving you money. Remote Monitoring: Remote monitoring of your Venus GX allows you to make sure your boat or motorhome are ready to go. Venus GX also allows you to talk to connected equipment from other manufacturers. And with Venus GX you can check the tanks, too.
Monitor, configure, manage, and update your Victron Energy equipment with the VictronConnect App. Victron Smart products connect to the app through Bluetooth, USB, WiFi, LAN, or remotely via the internet.
