The Victron Energy BMV-702 is a high precision battery monitor with the essential function to calculate amp-hours consumed and the state of charge of a battery. Amp-hours consumed are calculated by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery.

The BMV-702 LiFePO4 battery monitor is highly accurate, incredibly easy to install, and very reasonably priced. The BMV-702 monitors multiple parameters for one battery bank via a 500 amp shunt. In addition, it will read midpoint voltage from a multi-battery bank or the voltage of a second bank, usually the starting battery.
Installation is a breeze. The monitor display comes with both a round and square bezel and fits a 52mm (2-1/16″) hole. The shunt attaches between the battery and the ground connections, and a provided network cable connects the two.
An improved menu makes navigating the display easy. Displays includes battery voltage, real-time current, consumed amp-hours, state of charge, time to go, and with the second connection, either a battery #2 voltage or midpoint deviation of the main bank. There are also user-programmable alarms.
Now you can even connect your Smart Phone to the BMV-702 LiFePO4 Battery Monitor to view BMV or MPPT information on iOS and Android devices with the help of the Bluetooth® Smart dongle and application (not included).

Easy to Install: All electrical connections are to the quick connect PCB on the current shunt. The shunt connects to the monitor with a standard RJ12 telephone cable. Included: RJ12 cable (10 m) and battery cable with fuse (2 m); no other components needed. Also included are a separate front bezel for a square or round display appearance, a securing ring for rear
mounting and screws for front mounting.
Midpoint Voltage Monitoring: One bad cell or one bad battery can destroy a large, expensive battery bank. When batteries are connected in series, a timely warning can be generated by measuring the midpoint voltage. We recommend a Battery Balancer to maximize service life if you’re utilizing series-connected lead-acid batteries.
Low Current Draw from Battery: Current consumption of 0.7 Ah per month (1 mA) @12 V and 0.6 Ah per month (0.8 mA) @ 24 V. Especially Li-ion batteries have virtually no capacity left when discharged until low voltage shutdown. After shutdown due to low cell voltage, the capacity reserve of a Li-ion battery is approximately 1Ah per 100 Ah battery capacity. The battery will be damaged if the remaining capacity reserve is drawn from the battery. A residual current of 10 mA for example may damage a 200 Ah battery if the system is left in discharged state
during more than 8 days.
Bi-Stable Alarm Relay: Prevents increased current draw in case of an alarm.
